Master of Teaching Islamic Studies

It is a 120 credit study programme at level 9 of MNQF. It has nine modules and the duration of the programme is one academic year. It comprises of 1200 learning hours and 400 contact hours. The last two modules in Semester 2 are optional modules and students will have the option to either do module nine or ten. On successful completion of the programme students will be awarded Master of Teaching Islamic Studies. Student who wish to exit the programme can do so by completing the first five modules. Those who exit the programme with the completion of the first five modules will be awarded Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching Islamic Studies.

  • އެހެން މީހުންނާއެކު މުޢާމަލާތު ކުރުމުގައި އިސްލާމީ ރިވެތި އުޞޫލުތަކާ އެއްގޮތަށް މުޢާމަލާތުކުރަން އެގޭ ބަޔަކު އުފެއްދުން

  • ރާއްޖޭގެ ރަށްރަށުގެ ސްކޫލް މަދަރުސާތަކަށް ބޭނުންވާ އިސްލާމް މުދައްރިސުން ތަމްރީނު ލިބިފައިވާ ބަޔަކު އުފެއްދުން

Admission Requirements

General Entry

  • A related Bachelor‟s Degree OR
  • A related Graduate Diploma at Level 8

Alternative Entry

  • 25 years old, completion of a related Level 5 qualification, and 7 years of relevant experience (of which 3.5 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 5 qualification), and completion of an MQA approved Pre-Master‟s Program. OR
  • 25 years old, completion of a related Level 6 qualification, and 6 years of relevant experience (of which 3 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 6 qualification), and completion of an MQA approved Pre-Master‟s Program

General Notice

The College may find it necessary in some circumstances to postpone or discontinue certain courses, particularly when they do not reach the prescribed minimum class size (atleast 10 per batch).
